We don't get to hear speeches very often. Pretty much the only times we sit down and pay attention to someone in front of us at a podium are at church, at funerals, in college public speaking classes, or if we randomly wander into some press conference somewhere. Oh, and graduations. I love to hear people who can arrange words into profound or amusing configurations and ably project them onto an audience. This is Amy Poehler speaking at Class Day for the Harvard Class of 2011.
For an example of a bad speech, of someone who is unable to arrange the words or project them with confidence, just attend any one of the number of high school graduations I'm sure you're invited to this year.

Also, at the 1:05 mark look for the dude in the hat as he eats an eye booger.
